Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 2500- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Standard Cab and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to install the Westin PRO TRAXX Running Boards. This is gonna be an oval style running board with a large foot plate here on the top. The foot plate and the tube itself will be about 4 inches wide. Now I've got a size 13 boot and you can see here it is more than enough space to be able to fit my foot on there. The only thing that concerns me about this particular set is that they do sit quite a bit underneath the truck itself. more

You can get them either in four-inch-wide, like this, or five-inch-wide and they come in either cab length like this or wheel to wheel. Aries Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2012 GMC Sierra- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2012 GMC Sierra 1500, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Aries Oval tube steps. These ones are polished stainless steel but they're also available in a black powder code, if you find you like that style a little bit better. But before we jump in and install, let's take a minute, check these out and make sure they're gonna work for you. This set is going to kind of remind me of just your classic tube steps, you know, at least that's what I think of when I hear that word. They look decent and probably the first thing that I noticed is they're definitely gonna be functional, all right So they come out quite a ways, you know, they're not sticking way out to where they look funny or anything, but they're definitely gonna give you a good footing when you go to get in and outta the truck, which, with something like this, it's probably most important, right So you open up that door you got quite a bit of space there, you know, to get your foot on and get yourself a good grip while you're getting in and out of your truck. more

Aries RidgeStep Running Boards Installation - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited- Video
Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Aries RidgeStep Running Boards on a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 limited. This is what the running boards are gonna look like when installed on our truck, and you can see right away, they have a nice clean design. They're not overly large yet. There's still a nice spot for your feet to rest on here when you step up into the truck, it's also covered with a nice wrinkle black powder coat finish which not only looks really nice, but it's also gonna hold up to scratches a little bit better than your typical gloss. You'll see that it has raised steel treads and that's gonna be great for when it's wet out or even if you have muddy feet, you're still gonna be able to get that traction. more

Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2021 GMC Canyon- Video
Hi there, GMC owners. Today in your 2021 GMC Canyon, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Westin's Nerf Bars. It's a three-inch, round tube step from Westin that has a plastic pad on top that gives you a good surface to step on. It's nice and flat on top with some raised surfaces to keep mud, debris, and snow and other things like that from preventing you from getting good traction. That dirt can go down inside the grooves and your foot can rest on top to get good traction in any inclement weather. Tube steps are great for a lot of different reasons. more

Bestop TrekStep Side Mounted Truck Step Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 2500- Video
Hi there, truck owners. Today, our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install Bestop's Trekstep. This is a side mounted step, which makes it easy to get into things like your toolbox. Maybe if you've got any roof mounted accessories or over the cab ladder rack, you could easily get up here to get to those items. If you didn't have a toolbox in here, this also makes it an easy way to hop into the bed of your truck real quick, right out the driver's door. These are available either in black, like you see here or in stainless steel. These Nerf bars are four inch diameter, and they're going to add to look at your Canyon, giving it a more rugged appearance. The Nerf bars are a solid sturdy metal, and they add to the whittier vehicle just a little bit, which makes your vehicle just overall look a little bit bigger and beef here than it was before. There are four traction pads located on the Nerf bars, two on each side, one for each door. Westin GenX Oval Nerf Bars with Hoop Steps Installation - 2015 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 we'll be having a look at and installing the Westin GenX Oval Nerf Bars with Hoop Steps Part Number 20-3715.Here's what our Nerf Bars look like installed. Our step hoop here, drops down five inches from the main part of the Nerf Bar giving us easy access for a step to get into the vehicle. The step hoop itself, has a two inch diameter tubular seal construction. Our main Nerf Bar here, has a four inch tubular seal construction. Our Nerf bar has a durable, gloss black powder coat finish, which will provide us with rust resistance for many years down the road.We have a nice textured surface here on our steps with channels in it to help divert water away from our feet so we don't have to worry about slipping off when we're getting into the vehicle. The step is ten inches wide, at it's widest point, and four inches deep.Now, what sets these Nerf bars apart from others on the market, is that our step here, is actually quite a bit lower than others one. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 we're gonna take a look at and also show you how to install the Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars, these four inch polished stainless steel Nerf bar's part number is 21-23860.Now of course the need for tube steps like this either gonna be to upgrade the look of your truck, make it more stylish as these have done, or to help you get in and out. Trucks seem to be getting taller and taller and it's kind of hard to step up into them sometimes, this is gonna give us a great solution for that and allow us to get in and out of our truck much more easy. Now based on what our customer reviews say about the steps they tend to hold up very, very well, the polished stainless steel material and the sealed ends are gonna help with that, we'll talk more about that in a minute. Also it does make life easier, even on the front doors and the back doors the steps are lined up right where you'll want them to get in and out.As you can see they really changed the look of our truck, they give it a nice, sleek, stylish look, these are polished aluminum so they give kind of the chrome effect. The biggest benefit to this style though over a lot of the others are the completely sealed ends here, that prevents any moisture from getting inside those steps and we don't have kind of that rust out you used to get to where the bottom of them would be all rusty and eventually just fall apart.Now each tube is gonna have two polymer steps, it's gonna have raised traction, helps us get grip as we get in and out and as you can see they're positioned really nicely directly under the truck. The ends of the tubes are gonna turn in slightly towards the vehicle, it helps to give it a more finished look.Now with these being polymer they're gonna be resistant to UV rays, salt, discoloration, cracking, things like that. more

Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra, we're gonna be taking a look at and installing the DZ Nerf Bars, part #DZ372529 in black. Now, they're also available in polished stainless steel, using part #DZ372527. So, here's what our steps look like fully installed on our truck. Now, these are gonna be great because they're gonna make it a little bit easier to get in and out of our truck. Now, the tube itself is steel. It has a black powder coat finish so, it is gonna resist rust and corrosion, and it is a four inch oval tube. It has two steps per side, and the step pad is made up of an anti-slip plastic so, you know you're gonna have a secure footing each time you get in or get out of your truck. Now, the steps themselves are gonna be right about 24 inches long. more

Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2016 GMC Canyon- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Canyon, we're going to take a look at, and also show you how to install, the Westin Pro Traxx Oval Nerf Bars. These are the four inch wide version polished stainless steel. Part number is 21-24010. Here's what our steps are going to look like once we get them installed. As you can see it's a really clean look on the Canyon here, especially with the trim package this one has, it's almost like it blends together. I think regardless of the color of the car or the trim package, it's still going to be something that's a nice addition to your vehicle. All right, today in this 2015 GMC Sierra 3500, we're going to show you Bestop PowerBoard NX Motorized Running Boards, part number B7562615. This is what the powerboards look like, once installed in a truck. As you can see, with the door shut there's not much to see at all. Which is a good thing. Let's go ahead and open the door and they automatically come out, takes about one second for them to come out, all right. Now, if you close the door, usually about a 3 or 4 second delay. Okay, and for nighttime use, there's a little courtesy lamp right here which shines down on the tread. more

DeeZee Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2015 GMC Canyon- Video
Today on our 2015 GMC Canyon, we are going to review and install the DZ Tube Steps, Part Number DZ372043. With our tube step installed, really makes it nice and easy to get in and out off our truck. Our round chrome tube step adds a really nice finishing touch to our vehicle. For each door, we are going to have a black plastic molded step with built in tread so it will give us a nice firm grip as we are getting in and out of the vehicle. The hardware and brackets that come with our install kit are steel brackets with a fully welded construction. They have got really nice black powder coated finish that will resist rust and corrosion. Now to begin our install, we need to identify our front attachment points here on the inner rocker panel. Starting from the front wheel well back, we are going to be using the two small pre-drilled holes as our attachment points. more

Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 we're going to be installing the Dee Zee tube steps, part number DZ372529. Note this is on the double cab or extended cab length pickup. Now here's what our tube step will look like once it's installed. Now the tube step themselves are made from a real nice steel construction with both the tube step and the brackets, each part having a nice black powder-coated finish so it will resist rust and corrosion over time. Now for each door we've got a front and rear pad for stepping in and out of the vehicle. The pads themselves approximately 24" long by 4" wide. more

Westin Tube Step Installation - 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD- Video
Today on this 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 series regular cab, we are going to be installing the Westin tube steps part number 23-1405. Okay, we are taking a look here at the driver side of the vehicle. And we want to go ahead and point out the body mounting bolts that are located just underneath the cab of the vehicle and that is what our tube steps are going to be attaching to. We have one here at the front we are going to be using and it is just rearward of the front tire and just about even with the front of the driver side door. And then we have one at the rear which is just forward of the rear edge of the driver side door as well. 0:35 more
